Twitter is one of the largest and most popular websites and applications in the world today. But what is the secret behind naming the site with this name?

The naming secret ... Why did the founders of the tweets platform choose the Twitter name for the platform?
Twitter was founded in March 2006 as a social media platform and microblogging that allows users to send "tweets" limited to 140 characters, including hashtags (#), but why the platform was named after Twitter, this is revealed by "rewindandcapture".

Co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, current CEO of Twitter, Noah Glass, Evan Williams, Baz Stone, and Twitter forever changed the way the world receives real-time news and Twitter has become one of the most popular websites in the world.

Jack Dorsey actually came up with the idea during a one-day brainstorming session held by members of the board of directors of Podcast Audio.
He wanted to create an individual SMS service to communicate with a small group, and Dorsey had always been fascinated by how cities communicated in real time.

The original name was called “Status,” but after searching the dictionary, he found the word Twitter, and the definition was “a short wave of insignificant information, tweeting from birds,” which is exactly what the product was.

Dorsey initially named "twttr" and later changed it to Twitter to simplify the matter. Perhaps from here came the bird logo.
