Google followed the same approach as Apple and raised the game "Fortnite" from its "Play Store" site, although users of Android operating systems could still access the game through the site of "Epic Games" itself.

For its part, the company that developed the famous " Fortnite " game filed a lawsuit against Apple and Google after the game, which is considered one of the most popular video games on the Internet, was removed from the "App Store" and "Play Store" sites to download games and applications.

And the company, "Epic Games", on Thursday, launched an option that allows "Fortnite" users of the iPhone and iPad to purchase in-game currencies at lower prices, bypassing the in-game purchase system applied by Apple.

Apple took the initiative to remove the game from the "App Store" website, indicating that "Epic Games" had activated a feature in the game without Apple reviewing and approving it, and that it did so with a clear intention to violate the rules of the "Apple Store" site regarding in-game purchase methods And applications, which apply to all developers who sell digital goods or services.

The company "Epec Games" accused Apple of non-competitive behavior, and described the company as seeking "to control markets, prevent competition, and disrupt innovation."

Fortnite earned up to $ 2.4 billion in 2018 and $ 1.8 billion in 2019 due to its great popularity across platforms, as players can use the same account across iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
