The African Judo Federation decided to hold the African Championship for Adults during the month of December in Morocco, which qualifies for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021, as it was scheduled to be held in Morocco last April, but it was postponed due to the Corona virus.

Last March, the African Union announced the postponement of the African Championship to June 2020 due to the spread of the virus, but it was also postponed due to the non-decline of Corona, so that the end of December will be renewed as a deadline for the establishment of the championship.

Judo Federation , headed by Obedient Fakhreddin, decided to make Corona smears for the elected team next August 3, as a first survey, while August 8 was set as the date for the second survey, provided that the team enters a closed camp at the Olympic Center after that, to start the activity officially, especially as judo is one of the games contactless .

The appointment was made according to what was agreed by the Federation’s Experts Committee as well as the Activity Return Committee, especially that if the smears and exercises begin in mid-July, the Eid Al-Adha holiday will come, and therefore it will not be beneficial from the smear they will be subjected to .

The Federation printed the booklet of medical guidelines and precautionary measures, which includes instructions for the return of sports activity, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Sports. The booklet will also be distributed to teams and clubs. With the implementation of the instructions announced by officials of the Ministry and the Council of Ministers.
