The Emirati Hope Probe launched to Mars on Monday, in the first Arab-Islamic historical flight of its kind, on board the H2A missile from the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan.

The Emirates Project for Exploring Mars crowns the "Probe of Hope", the first Arab and Islamic project to study the Red Planet, a scientific effort in which 200 engineers and girls from the Emirates sons and daughters participated over the past six years, as part of the Emirates project to explore Mars. During the project, and since its launch in 2014, the project has made many scientific achievements, including the completion of 200 new scientific technological designs, and the manufacture of 66 pieces of probe components in the UAE.
