The former Shura Council president and advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Larijani was infected with the new Corona virus (Covid 19) for the second time.

According to the Iranian Fars news agency, Larijani was transferred to a hospital in the capital, Tehran, on Wednesday, explaining that he is under special supervision by doctors.

The agency quoted some doctors as saying that Larijani was in stable condition and was likely to be transferred to his home after his health improved.

Larijani was infected with Corona last April, and he was then Speaker of Parliament.

On May 28, the leader, Ali Khamenei, appointed Ali Larijani as his advisor and member of the Expediency Council.
